DANC 127R - Ballet Technique and Theory I

Prerequisites:
For students at an advanced-beginner ballet technique skill level. Provides experience in barre and center work to increase strength and flexibility. Emphasizes body alignment and muscular control. Familiarizes students with musically informed artistic approaches to movement. Prepares students for a more intensive study in ballet. Requires ballet attire. May be repeated for a total of 18 credits towards graduation.
